我们的承诺

Budget & Savings is meant for everyone, whatever their starting point, device or ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs to fix rather than nice-to-haves.

• Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labeled form fields so screen readers and keyboard users can navigate them.
• Core pages, articles and calculators render without JavaScript.
• Light and dark themes, text that can be resized and reflowed to small screens, and a language selector with 16 languages.
• Decorative animation respects your device's reduced-motion setting.

已知局限

We have not yet completed a formal, third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit, so some pages may fall short. Areas we know need work:

• Some photographs and illustrations may have alternative text that is missing or not descriptive enough.
• Interactive pieces, including the Paycheck to Freedom game and some calculator charts, may not be fully usable with a keyboard or screen reader.
• Machine-translated pages may contain wording that is unclear or inaccurate.
• News headlines and links to government and partner sites lead to content we do not control, which may not meet the same standard.
